Urticaria

Characterised by Hives or skin rash with red, raised, itchy bumps and can be associated with burning or stinging or warm feeling.Its an evanescent rash lasting for few minutes and then reappearing on other site without any tell tale sign.It can occur anywhere from head to toe.Its an IgE mediated allergic response of body to varied antigens.Psychological stress, hot temperature, or vibration may also be a trigger.In most of cases the cause remains unknown.Diagnosis is clinical.
